Active Cannula MATLAB Model
My studies included a course on Advanced Surgical Robotics, where I was tasked to model the position and differential kinematics of a continuum robotic manipulator, and simulate movement in a fiducial registered human larynx. The images below represent the continuum robot inside a model extracted from open DICOM data.

Automatic Incision Robot
The Automatic Incision Robot (AIR) was a project I worked on while obtaining my masters degree. This robot was modeled to scan a piece of soft tissue with a marked incision on it and plan the trajectory of a given end effector.
Vision Sorting
As part of the WPI robotics curriculum, I participated in a team that developed code to enable a robotic manipulator to sort objects by color and weight. MATLAB code can be found here.
Modular Electric Skateboard
At WPI, I was part of a team that developed the worlds first prototype of a modular electric skateboard. The idea was to develop the framework for a system that could take user created components and integrate them into an electric skateboard.

Moscow Hackathon
During my time in Moscow, I participated in a hackathon located at the home campus of mail.ru.

Our final deliverable was a VR application that would help train police on the right protocol for various, traditionally dangerous, situations.
3D Printed Fuel Cell
I was part of the WPI Chem-E Car club, where I helped design a passive methanol diffusion fuel cell. This was achieved, by implementing various nafion layers that would react with the supplied methane. I was tasked with the design and fabrication of the shell itself. Won ”Most Innovative Drive System” at 2017 AIChE Northeast student regional conference.

Hospital Kiosk
As part of the WPI software engineering course, I participated in a large AGILE team that produced software to be used at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. This software featured:
- Direction generation for guiding patients to any area in the hospital, including QR code text transfer.
- Service requests for sanitation, interpreters, and transportation
- A fully functional API that enables any other program to use our front end application
